Eligibility:
A. General Criteria of Eligibility An applicant must:
1. belong to any of the following:
2. professionals doing research or those from industry
3. new students
4. on-going MS/PhD students in priority S&T fields and DOST network schools
5. be a Filipino citizen;
6. not more than 45 years old at the time of application;
7. be in good health condition;
8. have passed the admission requirements for graduate studies at any of the DOST identified institutions; and
9. have passed the interview and other screening procedures.
Description:
Scholarships for Master’s and Doctorate (MS & PhD) degrees in priority S&T areas through the implementation of the Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program.
Objectives:
1. To help improve the country’s global competitiveness and capability to innovate through alternative approaches on HRD in S&T
2. To accelerate the production of high-level human resources needed for S&T activities particularly in the area of R&D
